Ormond disease

Ormond disease (idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis) is an autoimmune condition characterized by proliferation of fibrous tissue in the retroperitoneum. It may present with obstruction symptoms, renal failure, mass effect as well as constitutional symptoms. At least some cases of Ormond disease are believed to be a form of systemic hyper-IgG4 disease.
