Askin tumor

Askin tumor is an eponym for small blue round cell tumor of chest wall/thoracopulmonary region. It is a rare primitive neuroectodermal neoplasm that belongs to the Ewing family of tumors.

Askin tumor is a rare pediatric malignancy which can also affect adults. It typically presents as a chest wall soft tissue mass with or without rib or pleural involvement.
